WEDDING INSPIRATIONS Q & A

"My Wedding is in Late Summer/Early Fall- What are good color options for the “in between” SEASON?"

What a great question! It can sometimes be a challenge to figure out how to make your wedding colors compliment the “in between” season. You don’t want to go too bright, nor do you want to go too deep in your color choices.
I have found that choosing where you place you bold/deep colors are key.  For example; having a pop of color in your flowers can make all the difference in adding a little more of fall to your theme or lighting it up to keep summer still in the air.

 GOLD, BERRY & HOT PINK
I love this pallet. You've got the bright and the deep in perfect, adventurous harmony. The gold is a neutral position to begin because you can take your decor in any direction. By adding the hot pink you are brightening your pallet and adding the summer feel to your wedding. The deep berry colors such as fuchsia, wild-berry, plum, cranberry and similar tones add that fall touch.

 SAGE
Sage is a great color that is both fresh, earthy, light and neutral. You can add pops of bold color such as deep coral, orange and red to your neutral pallet and deepen that look with fuchsia, berry, merlot and burgundy tones to add the fall feel.

DUSTY BLUE & BURGUNDY

This pallet is so elegant and simply stunning. The Dusty Blue is a cool sleek tone and adding a rich burgundy or red brings warmth and vibrancy to your decor. I would keep the deep colors to a minimum, mainly in the details, flowers and such otherwise you can easily risk making your wedding look more life fall and diminish the light airy summer feel that the dusty blue brings to the table.

DEEP PURPLE & LAVENDER
Mixing different shades of the same color is always loads of fun. Adding deep, dark purples will add a touch of fall to your wedding while the lavender softens this pallet. You may want to be careful that you don't mix too many different shades and keep the tone similar to make the overall look remain put together and not overdone.

Be Inspired.

xoxo
